Edward Pocock's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Edward is currently serving as the Project Director - Future Maintenance Services at Mornington Peninsula Shire since October 2022. Edward is also the Director at IPWEA Victoria since October 2022. Previously, they worked at Baw Baw Shire Council as the Manager Infrastructure Delivery & Environment from December 2019 to October 2022, and as the Manager Infrastructure Delivery & Waste from March 2018 to December 2019. Before that, they had multiple roles at Mornington Peninsula Shire, including Team Leader Traffic & Transport, Manager Infrastructure Strategy (acting), Manager Climate Change Energy & Water (acting), Project Engineer, Traffic & Road Safety Engineer, and Graduate/Undergraduate Civil Engineer. Edward also worked as a Retail Salesperson at Autobarn from December 2007 to September 2012, and as a Training Civil Engineer at Site Geotechnical Pty Ltd from November 2009 to December 2010.

Edward Pocock attended Monash University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
