Alex Barna is the current CFO of Moro Corp. Alex has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, and has held various positions in both public and private companies.
Alex began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998, where they worked as a Senior Associate for two years. In 2000, they left to join Tedd Wood Fine Cabinetry as their Controller.
At Tedd Wood, Barna was responsible for all accounting and finance functions, including the monthly close cycle and the preparation of financial statements. Alex also managed and supervised the accounting team, and was instrumental in assisting the company expand operations to accommodate their 30% revenue growth. In addition, they successfully managed the design and implementation of custom-programmed manufacturing management software, which resulted in improved operational efficiency and expanded reporting capabilities.
Barna left Tedd Wood in 2019 to join Moro Corp as their CFO. In their current role, they are responsible for the company's overall financial strategy and for leading all financial planning and analysis activities.
Alex Barna's educational career began with a BS in Business Administration from Widener University. After working in the accounting field for a few years, Alex decided to pursue a certification from the CPA.
