Mariel Jimenez

Mariel Jimenez is a seasoned copywriting professional with extensive experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry. Since joining Moroccanoil in September 2012, Mariel has advanced from Senior Copywriter to Senior Director, Copy, overseeing global marketing and advertising efforts while ensuring brand voice consistency across campaigns. Prior roles include Copywriter at Laura Geller Beauty, Managing Editor at Studio One, and Digital Copy Editor for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Earlier in the career, Mariel served various editorial roles at Hearst Magazines, contributing to the launch of Seventeen Magazine's first international edition and producing content for Cosmopolitan Magazine. Mariel holds a BA in Journalism from the University of the Philippines.
