Bruce Lu Yang (鲁洋) has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on enterprise digital transformation, technology innovation, blockchain technology, and fintech consulting. Bruce co-founded Morpheus Labs in 2017 and currently holds the position of Co-Founder and CTO. Prior to Morpheus Labs, Bruce worked at IBM as a Senior Managing Consultant and Lead Senior Architect from 2007 to 2018, where they managed the delivery of large-scale system integration projects and developed a business application using HyperLedger Fabric V1 as the lead architect. Before IBM, they held positions at Savi Technology Asia as a Software Architect and Software Development Leader, International Application Solution (an IBM Company) as an Integration Architect and Senior Consultant, SingaLab as a Solution Architect, elipva as a Software Architect, UOB as a Programmer Specialist, Legend Group (China) as an IT Consultant, and Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation (China) as a Programmer and CICS Administrator. Bruce's work experience spans back to 1990, showcasing their extensive industry knowledge and experience.
Bruce Lu Yang (鲁洋) has a diverse education history. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics from Tianjin University, attending from 1986 to 1990. Afterward, in 2016, Bruce pursued further education by completing a MIT FinTech certificate course on Future Commerce at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In the same year, they also enrolled in Rutgers Business School and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Executive Management from 2016 to 2017.
Additionally, Bruce has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2016, they obtained the NICF Certified Enterprise Architecture certification from the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore. Bruce also completed several online courses on entrepreneurship and obtained certificates for Entrepreneurship- Growing Strategy, Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity, and Entrepreneurship 2: Launching your Start-Up. Furthermore, in 2017, Bruce became an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner after completing the respective certification.
