Michael Choi has extensive experience in clinical development, scientific advising, and academic research. Michael is currently serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Development at Morphic Therapeutic, where they previously held the role of Director of Clinical Development. Prior to this, they worked at Mediar Therapeutics as a Scientific Advisor and Co-Founder. Michael also served as a Scientific Advisor at Iterative Health. Furthermore, Michael Choi has been affiliated with the Harvard Stem Cell Institute as an Affiliated Faculty member. Michael has been associated with Harvard Medical School since 2005, initially as an Instructor in Medicine and later as the Assistant Professor of Medicine, where they managed gastroenterology/hepatology patients and led a lab studying novel liver fibrosis therapies. At the Massachusetts General Hospital, they held the role of Attending Physician, specializing in gastroenterology, and was also a Fellow in Gastroenterology prior to that. Additionally, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Michael Choi has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Cornell University. Michael also holds an M.D. degree from Cornell University's School of Medicine. Michael completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of California, San Francisco and later pursued a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
