Ashraf Dehlawi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ashraf began their career as a Medical Technologist at Taif Armed Forces Hospitals in 2002, where they performed routine and special laboratory analyses. Ashraf also acted as the Quality Assurance officer during their tenure. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at National Guard Health Affairs as a Deputy Laboratory Operations Analyst and Senior Medical Technologist, where they implemented the quality management program and oversaw various aspects of the clinical laboratory.
In 2007, Ashraf joined Abbott as a Hematology Product Manager, supporting the sales and marketing teams, providing in-service trainings, and offering laboratory quality management consultations to customers. Ashraf then joined Wishard Health Services in 2010 as a Medical Technologist, where they performed core clinical lab analyses and led special projects related to laboratory quality management.
In 2012, Ashraf joined Morphogenesis, Inc. as a Graduate Student Intern, completing a biotechnology internship as part of their Professional Science Master's program. Ashraf prepared the company's first pre-IND submission package during this time. Ashraf continued their journey at Morphogenesis and held various roles, including Chief Clinical Officer from 2013 to 2018, Director of Regulatory Affairs from 2018 to 2021, and currently serves as the Vice President of Product Development & Project Management.
During their tenure at Morphogenesis, they submitted the company's first successful IND package, led the establishment of the company's quality management system, and streamlined its information technology infrastructure. Ashraf's work experience demonstrates their expertise in regulatory affairs, project management, and product development in the biotechnology industry.

Ashraf Dehlawi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from King AbdulAziz University, completing the program from 1996 to 2001.
Following that, Ashraf pursued further education at the University of South Florida. From 2011 to 2012, Ashraf completed a Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics and a Master's of Science degree in Biotechnology.
In 2008, Ashraf obtained a Graduate Certificate in Laboratory Quality Management from The University of British Columbia.
In addition to the formal education, Ashraf has obtained multiple certifications. These include the Process Improvement: Identifying and Eliminating Waste certification from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in February 2023, the USF Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in August 2022, and the Designated Project Manager and Modern Management Tools Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in January 2022.
Other obtained certifications by Ashraf include Interpretation and Application of ICH E6(R2) from the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard (MRCT Center) in June 2021, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, and the Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in November 2020.
