Bryan Thompsonowak is an experienced environmental educator and arborist, currently serving as Director of Education at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania since June 2015, after previously holding the position of Assistant Director of Continuing Education. With a Master of Science in Public Horticulture from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Albright College, Bryan has a diverse background that includes roles such as Longwood Graduate Fellow at the University of Delaware and Environmental Educator at Bartram's Garden, where the "Green Room" was developed for educational engagement. Additional experience encompasses positions at Wells Tree Service, Parker Interior Plantscapes, and an internship at Morris Arboretum, where Bryan earned certifications as an ISA Certified Arborist and in Tree Risk Assessment. Bryan's early career included serving as Capacity Building Coordinator for Mennonite Central Committee in Haiti and managing adventure programs at Great Valley Nature Center.
