Ilana Grubin

Ilana Grubin is an experienced education specialist and camp director currently at the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania since November 2019, where Ilana directs a nature-based summer camp. Prior roles include serving as a Master Gardener Program Assistant at Penn State University, where Ilana assisted with program planning and communications, and as a Youth Education Manager at Greener Partners, developing lesson plans for youth programming. Ilana held various educational positions, such as School Garden Coordinator for Frederick Douglass Mastery Charter School and Learning Support Teacher at KIPP Philadelphia Schools, demonstrating a strong commitment to gardening, environmental education, and supporting diverse student populations. Ilana's educational background includes a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Temple University and certification in horticulture from The Barnes Foundation.
