Mellany Armstrong

Mellany Armstrong is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public relations, media relations, and journalism. Currently serving as Communications Coordinator at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania, responsibilities include editing the "Seasons" newsletter and overseeing media relations. In addition, Mellany anchors news at KYW Newsradio, delivering news on-air. Previous roles include Associate Director of Communications at Moore College of Art & Design, where Mellany managed media relations and publications, as well as positions at ComcastNBCUniversal, Total Traffic & Weather Network, Delaware Community Foundation, and various radio stations. A graduate of Saint Francis University with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Communications, Mellany has a proven track record of writing, editing, and producing award-winning content.
