Simone Cifuentes

Simone Cifuentes is an experienced professional in environmental law and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Law at Nunez Community College and a Sustainability Coordinator at New Harmony High School. Simone holds a JD from LSU Law and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Previous experience includes roles as Of Counsel Attorney at Morris Bart Law Firm, Director of Property Management and Consulting at Zu, Inc, and domestic violence survivors' attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. Simone has significant teaching experience, including IB Environmental Science at International High School of New Orleans and curriculum development for Anatomy and Physiology. Additional expertise encompasses grant writing, policy creation, and environmental program implementation.
