Mckinley Ravenell

Reverend McKinley Ravenell is married to Sister Sandra D. Ravenell and is the proud father of four sons and grandfather of four.

Reverend Ravenell received his calling to the ministry in November 1987. He was licensed to carry the gospel on February 28, 1988 and was ordained on January 7, 1990. He received his religious education and training from Morris College School of Religion in Sumter, South Carolina.

He has served as Associate Minister at New Home Baptist Church, Oakley, South Carolina, Springfield Baptist Church in Eutawville, South Carolina, and as pastor of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in St. George, South Carolina. In May of 1991, he was called to pastor Elem Missionary Baptist Church where he continues to preach and teach the ways of the Lord for the past twenty-six years.

Reverend Ravenell serves as a faculty member of the E&M Baptist Congress of Christian Education of South Carolina. He is also a member of the E&M Executive Board of the Parent Body. Reverend Ravenell is also a member of the National Baptist Convention U.S.A., Inc.

In October 2010, Reverend Ravenell began his service as Moderator of the Lovely Hill Baptist Association.

In August 2016, Reverend Ravenell was appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees for Morris College, Sumter, South Carolina.
