Matt Dixon

Matt Dixon is an experienced journalist currently serving as an enterprise reporter for the Florida Times-Union since March 2010, focusing on long-form investigative reporting with an emphasis on government watchdog issues. Prior to this role, Matt worked as a government reporter for the Panama City News Herald, covering Florida state politics and maintaining a blog. Earlier experience includes serving as a government reporter for Villages Media Group, where investigative stories were developed using public records and sources across multiple counties. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from Marquette University, earned between 2004 and 2007.
