Michelle Theall is a seasoned editor, photographer, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the media and travel industries. Currently serving as an editor and photographer for Morris Communications, Michelle showcases the beauty of Alaska through articles and images. Previously, Michelle held the position of Editor in Chief and Brand Leader for Alaska magazine, managing editorial and creative efforts for nearly three years. As the owner of Wild Departures, Michelle leads a boutique travel company that focuses on wildlife viewing and photography experiences worldwide, particularly in Alaska. Former roles include Marketing Director for Backpacker Magazine, Vice President of the Magazine Division at Big Earth Publishing, and founder and CEO of Women's Adventure Magazine, which catered to women in outdoor sports and adventure travel. Michelle earned a BA in Mass Communications, graduating summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in 1989.
