Christopher Maxwell

Christopher E. Maxwell is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Group and serves as chair of the firm’s Emerging Companies and Growth Equity Practice.

With more than a decade practicing law under his belt, Chris has closed over 300 venture capital, growth equity and M&A transactions for clients across the U.S. and internationally.

Chris primarily focuses his practice on representing clients in middle-market corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He regularly represents private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies, angel investor networks, as well as venture capital-backed founder and family-owned businesses with a particular focus on technology and technology enabled business services firms.
