Jan Karel Weststrate

Jan Karel Weststrate has extensive work experience in the financial and professional services industry. Jan Karel currently holds the position of Regional Tax Director Europe & North America at H.R.L. Morrison & Co. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at EY for seven years, from 2015 to 2022. Before joining EY, they served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from 2006 to 2015. Jan also has several years of experience at Ernst & Young LLP, where they worked as a Senior Manager from 2001 to 2006 and as a Manager from 2000 to 2001. Jan Karel started their career as a Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997.

Jan Karel Weststrate obtained their LLM degree in tax law from Leiden University, where they studied from 1990 to 1997. In addition, they completed the Transformative Leadership Series at EY in September 2020.
