Somali Young

Somali Young is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in controlling and managing finance functions across various sectors. Currently serving as the Infratil Group Financial Controller and Infratil Finance Manager at MORRISON since April 2021, Somali has previously held the position of Senior Controller for EMEA at Dentsu Aegis Network, focusing on the Controllership and Operational Finance functions across the region. Prior experience includes roles such as Group Technical Reporting Manager at Clarion Events, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance of financial statements for over 30 entities, and financial analyst at The Wellcome Trust, managing significant grant funding reports. Somali's career began at KPMG New Zealand with roles advancing from Senior Accountant to Manager in the Private Enterprise division, coupled with additional consulting experience at EY. Somali holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington.
