Rich Hung is a seasoned attorney with over 25 years of experience in litigating intellectual property cases, including patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright matters, currently serving as the Global Co-Chair of Litigation and Partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP since September 2000. Notably, Rich has achieved favorable verdicts in numerous trials and significant awards in arbitration while also having argued before state and federal appellate courts. Previously, Rich served as an Assistant District Attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, successfully trying five cases, and gained valuable experience as a law clerk for Judge Paul Michel at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Rich began a legal career in litigation at McCutchen Doyle Brown & Enersen and has held roles at esteemed firms such as Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Rich holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a dual BS and BA in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Stanford University.
