Dan Woolfsmith P.Eng, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dan started their career as a Jr Structural engineer at Earth Tech Canada Inc in 2003 and then moved on to work as a Project Manager and Structural Engineer at Syntheon from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they joined AECOM as a Sr. Project Manager and later took on the roles of Manager, Structural Engineering - B+P and Southern Alberta Operation Manager (Buildings and Places). Dan left AECOM in 2015 to join Morrison Hershfield, where they initially worked as the Manager, Structural Engineering (Alberta) / Sr. Project Manager and then served as the Manager: Buildings and Facilities Engineering, Calgary. In 2016, they became the Manager, Buildings & Facilities Engineering, Alberta, and in 2020, they were promoted to the role of Director, Major Project Delivery, BFE West. Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated their expertise in project management and structural engineering.
Dan Woolfsmith P.Eng, PMP completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of New Brunswick from 1995 to 2000. Dan obtained their P.Eng certification from APEGA in January 2004. Additional certifications include LEED AP from USGBC and a second P.Eng certification from APEGBC. Dan is also a Project Management Professional certified by PMI.
