Ian Ortiz Eit

Ian Ortiz, EIT, currently serves as a Design Manager at Morrison Hershfield since April 2023. Prior to this role, Ian gained experience as a Project Engineer at XG Inc. from January 2022 to April 2023, and as a Jr. Project Engineer specializing in Structural Engineering at Leaf Communications from April 2021 to January 2022. Ian started a career in the construction industry as a Construction Laborer at Drill Tech Drilling and Shoring, Inc. from June 2017 to April 2021, where responsibilities included assisting in the construction of a 100-foot vertical shaft and a 2.5-mile horizontal tunnel with steel reinforcements. Ian earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from UC Irvine between 2017 and 2021.
