Wajeeha Anum Qazi

Wajeeha Anum Qazi is a Solid Waste Engineer currently employed at Morrison Hershfield since September 2022, having previously held the position of Junior Solid Waste Management Designer. Prior experience includes a Program Coordinator Intern role at Solar Offset, where Wajeeha managed the intake of photovoltaic systems for carbon credit registration in Alberta and estimated energy generation and carbon offsets. Wajeeha also worked as an Admin Assistant at Rozek & Associates, organizing databases and managing communications, and served as a Research Assistant at Middle East College, successfully creating research proposals that secured significant funding while modeling waste generation and greenhouse gas emissions. Early training as a Civil Engineer Intern at Al-Manarah Engineering Consultancy involved project administration and site supervision. Wajeeha holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East College.
