Daniel Risskov Sørensen has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific field. Daniel Risskov is currently employed as a Research Scientist at Morrow Batteries since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoc at MAX IV Laboratory from August 2020 to August 2022. Before that, they served as a Postdoc at Heinz Meier-Leibnitz Zentrum from July 2018 to August 2020, where they focused on designing and developing a measurement cell for operando neutron diffraction measurements on rechargeable Li-ion batteries. Additionally, they conducted research on the fatigue mechanism of commercial batteries subjected to heavy cycling. From October 2015 to June 2018, Daniel worked as a Postdoc at Syddansk Universitet. Their earliest work experience was as a Ph.d. student at the University of Southern Denmark, where they conducted research on the synthesis and characterization of solid phosphates for use in medium temperature fuel cells and electrolyzers. During their Ph.D., they used SiC-nanowhiskers to reinforce pellets of CsH2PO4, increasing their mechanical strength.
Daniel Risskov Sørensen obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark. The specific start and end years of this educational experience are not provided.
