Morrow Batteries
Henning Kaland is an experienced professional in battery technology and materials science, currently serving as Cell Development Manager, LNMO-X, and Research Scientist at Morrow Batteries since January 2021. Previously, Kaland completed a Ph.D. at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from August 2017 to March 2021, focusing on the identification and development of new cathode materials for next-generation battery technologies. Additional experience includes a summer internship in the battery technology research group at the Institute for Energy Technology, where electrochemical characterization of Si anodes was a central focus, and another internship at Silicon Labs, developing scripts for automatic verification of digital component files. Kaland also held leadership roles at Timini, a student organization at NTNU, and worked in various capacities in education and IT service development. Kaland holds a Master's degree in Nanotechnology from NTNU and has completed part-time studies at the University of Oslo.
