Rasim Batmaz

Rasim Batmaz is a Research Scientist at Morrow Batteries since December 2024, with previous experience as an Electrode Development Engineer at Beyonder from September 2021 to November 2024. Batmaz served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Waterloo from February 2019 to February 2022, focusing on binder development for binder jetting 3D printing technology. Educationally, Batmaz holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering (Nanotechnology) and a Master's in Applied Science (Nanotechnology, Chemical Engineering) from the University of Waterloo, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Middle East Technical University. Extensive teaching experience includes multiple roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where Batmaz tutored various chemical engineering and physical chemistry courses and lab sessions. Earlier professional experience includes a co-op position at the Ministry of Agriculture's Şap Institute, where Batmaz conducted water quality tests for vaccine preparation.
