Steinar Åsmund Fagervoll has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Steinar Åsmund is currently working as a Battery Research Engineer at Morrow Batteries since December 2021. Previously, they were a Project Manager at Eyde Cluster from March 2021 to November 2021, where they also served as a Trainee from September 2020 to February 2021. During their time as a Trainee at Eyde Cluster, they worked on different projects related to sustainable business development and coordination of competence areas.
Before joining Eyde Cluster, Steinar worked as a Trainee at Trainee Sør AS from September 2019 to February 2021. Steinar Åsmund was also a Trainee at Elkem ASA from March 2020 to August 2020, where they worked on the development and quality assurance of graphite for lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, they served as a Trainee in the research and development department at Glencore Nikkelverk AS from September 2019 to February 2020, where they worked on a preliminary study for a new factory producing materials for the battery industry.
Steinar's work experience also includes a summer internship at Trilobite Microsystems AS in 2018, where they conducted research on microplastics and magnetism. Steinar Åsmund exhibited a high degree of independence and structured their own work in relevant fields such as hydrodynamics and microfluidics. Steinar Åsmund also worked as a Summer Substitute at the research and development/online department at Glencore Nikkelverk AS in 2016 and 2015.
In addition to their professional experience, Steinar has served as an Operations Assistant at the Norwegian Armed Forces from August 2013 to July 2014 and as an Assistant at Dyreparken in May 2013 to August 2013.
Steinar Åsmund Fagervoll pursued their education in the field of Nanotechnology for Materials, Energy, and Environment. From 2014 to 2019, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where they obtained their Master's degree. During their time at NTNU, they gained a comprehensive understanding of nanotechnology and its applications in various fields. In 2017, Steinar Åsmund Fagervoll took part in an exchange program and studied Nanotechnology at UNSW for a year. These experiences allowed him to develop and refine their knowledge and skills in the field of nanotechnology.
