Vice President Supply Chain at Morrow Batteries

Stephen Sayfritz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Stephen currently holds the position of VP Battery Materials at Morrow Batteries, where they are responsible for strategic partnerships, sourcing, procurement, and logistics. Stephen also develops the company's battery materials and recycling strategy and establishes strategic partnerships related to battery materials.

Before joining Eyde Cluster, Stephen worked as a Business Unit Manager at Eurofins Norway from 2014 to 2016, overseeing production, finance, and growth for Eurofins Kristiansand. Stephen also managed Eurofins Norge's online store during this time.

Earlier in their career, Stephen held positions such as Assistant Director at The National IOR Centre of Norway, Research Scientist at Institute for Energy Technology, Department Engineer at Norwegian School of Veterinary Science, Analytical Chemist at Amdel, and Analytical Chemist and Polymer Characterization Chemist at Smithers Rapra Ltd. In these roles, they gained expertise in areas such as research, project management, analytical methods development, and chemical analysis.

Stephen Sayfritz completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology from the University of Hull. Stephen attended the University from 1997 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Oslo (UiO), completing it from 2005 to 2007.
