Anna Desis

Anna Desis has a strong work experience in corporate governance and teaching. Anna started their career in 2010 as a Math Teacher at Chicago Public Schools, where they excelled in producing high test scores and implementing differentiated instruction. Anna later joined New Milford High School as a Math Teacher, where they developed data-driven instruction and built positive relationships with students and families. Since 2017, Anna has been working at Morrow Sodali, first as an Analyst and currently as Vice President in Corporate Governance. In this role, they effectively identify governance gaps and voting issues, collaborates with clients to develop strategies, and streamlines internal procedures.

Anna Desis obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics (Actuarial Science) from Binghamton University in 2010. Anna then pursued a Master's degree in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, starting in 2013. Anna has also obtained several certifications, including the Introduction to R from DataCamp in January 2017, the Certified International Baccalaureate teacher certificate from The International Baccalaureate in June 2013, and the 029 - Provisional Educator Certificate with a Mathematics Endorsement in Connecticut from the Connecticut Board of Education in July 2014.
