Steve Messinger

Steve Messinger has a diverse and accomplished work experience. Steve currently works as an Independent Trustee for BondBloxx ETF Trust since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as President, Fund Solutions at Morrow Sodali from July 2019. At BlackRock, Steve held the position of Managing Director from August 2016 to July 2019, where they managed interactions with the iShares ETFs board of trustees. Steve also worked as a Managing Director at Beacon Consulting Group from May 2014 to June 2016, focusing on supporting the growth of asset managers' ETF businesses. Steve's earlier experience includes roles at BlackRock as Chief Administrative Officer, Global Client Group from March 2011 to January 2014, and Managing Director, Planning & Strategy, iShares from June 2007 to March 2011. Before BlackRock, they were a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young in the Asset Management Advisory Practice from May 2005 to June 2007. Steve's career began at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) as a Principal in the Financial Services Industry Practice from September 1994 to April 1998.

Steve Messinger completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in History from Brown University in 1985. Steve then pursued a Master's degree in Russian Studies from Columbia | SIPA, which they completed in 1989. Finally, they attended The Wharton School from 1992 to 1994, where they earned an MBA with a focus on Finance and Strategic Planning.
