Dorthe Hedensted Lund

Dorthe Hedensted Lund is an experienced project manager currently at Morsø Kommune since November 2018, and also operates as a self-employed chainsaw carver since July 1999. With a strong academic background, Dorthe served as a senior researcher at the University of Copenhagen from September 2011 to May 2018, focusing on spatial planning processes, environmental governance, sustainable urban development, and climate change adaptation in both Danish and developing world contexts. Previous roles include assistant professor addressing climate change adaptation governance, post-doctoral researcher on public sector innovation, and co-developer of a solar tree project. Dorthe holds a PhD in natural resource policy from the University of Copenhagen, as well as a Master’s in Forestry from Den Kgl. Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole.
