Catherine Kirkwood

Catherine Kirkwood is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in real-time and embedded software development. Currently working at Morson Projects since February 2017, Catherine is responsible for the design, development, and verification of ADA software. Previously, at Almac Group, Catherine developed and maintained Java applications and implemented automated testing solutions. Prior experience includes a senior software engineer role at Rolls-Royce Controls and Data Services Ltd, where Catherine developed safety-critical aircraft engine control software and ensured compliance with RTCA/DO-178 guidelines. Catherine also contributed to Bombardier Aerospace, focusing on thermodynamics and investigations involving ultrasound testing. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Queen's University Belfast and a Master of Science in Computing and Information Systems from Ulster University.
