Gerard McKeown

Gerard McKeown is a highly experienced software engineering professional with a focus on compliance with RTCA standard DO-178B/ED-12B. As the Director of McKeown Software Engineering Ltd. since May 2016, Gerard oversees a consultancy that manages various software development projects. Concurrently, Gerard serves as a Contract Software Engineer at Morson Projects, working on software development and verification for aero engine controls and a mission planning product. Previous roles include Principal Software Engineer at Rolls-Royce, Senior Software Engineer at Controls and Data Services and Goodrich, and Software Engineer at TRW Aeronautical Systems, with expertise in both design and verification of software for critical aircraft systems.
