Heather Messam is an experienced professional who has been with the Mortgage Bankers Association since January 2001, holding the title of Associate Vice President & Controller. Prior to that, Heather worked at NRECA from January 1990 to January 2001 as an Accountant. Heather graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1988 with a BS in Business Teacher Education and later received a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In their role, Heather manages budgets, financial statements, and oversees the general ledger, as well as supervising accounts payable, accounts receivable, and a senior accountant.
