Global Tree Conservation Program Manager at Morton Arboretum

Amy Byrne is a seasoned professional in tree conservation, currently serving as the Global Tree Conservation Program Manager at The Morton Arboretum since March 2019. In this role, Amy collaborates with the Director to develop strategies for conserving vulnerable tree species and oversees key partnerships and projects, including the Center for Species Survival for Trees and the Global Conservation Consortium for Oak. Prior experience includes roles as a Global Tree Conservation Coordinator and Assistant at The Morton Arboretum, as well as research positions at Lincoln Park Zoo and during undergraduate studies. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
