Morton Arboretum
Paul Gordon currently serves as the Stewardship Coordinator for the Chicago Region Trees Initiative at The Morton Arboretum since November 2022. Previously, Paul held roles including HealthBeat Leader for Environmental Health at the Association of Health Care Journalists, where articles and webinars were created to enhance journalists' reporting on environmental health. Paul also worked as a Junior Correspondent with Clean Energy Wire, focusing on the energy transition in Germany. A recipient of a fellowship from the U.S. Department of State's Congress-Bundestag Exchange, Paul's experiences include serving as a Media Fellow at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue and an Assistant Ecologist at Fermilab, where efforts were made to restore ecosystems. Additional contributions include writing for The Flip Side newsletter and interning with the National Audubon Society and National Park Service. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies, with a minor in Journalism, from DePaul University, and studied at Freie Universität Berlin.
