Melissa Brewster

Melissa Brewster has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Melissa is currently the Director of Pharmacy Services at Mosaic Community Health since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an ECHO Addiction Medicine Faculty at Oregon Health & Science University from January 2018 to June 2022. From June 2016 to December 2021, they served as a Senior Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at CareOregon. Melissa also has experience as a Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacist at Veterans Administration from January 2013 to May 2016, where they provided specialized mental health services and was the coordinator for a psychiatric pharmacy residency program. Melissa has also worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in the NICU and labor and delivery units at Intermountain Medical Center in 2012 and served as a Pharmacy Practice Resident at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium from July 2011 to June 2012. Melissa began their career as a Pharmacy Intern at Primary Children Hospital Inc, where they provided clinical pharmacy services to various units from May 2004 to February 2007.

Melissa Brewster completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in Chemistry from the University of Utah between 2002 and 2007. Melissa then pursued further education at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and received their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree between 2007 and 2011. Melissa's professional development continued with a one-year program at Alaska Native Hospital from 2011 to 2012, where they specialized in Pharmacy Practice in a hospital setting (PGY1).
