Miguel Merino currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Mosaic Transit Group, overseeing the Finch West Light Rail Transit project in Toronto, which aims to enhance the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area's transit system. Mosaic Transit Group
Mosaic Transit Group is designing, building and maintaining the Finch West Light Rail Transit project in northwest Toronto. This is a bold and exciting 18 stop, 11 km line, which will transform transit in the Finch Avenue West community. The Finch West LRT route runs from Keele Street to Humber College’s north campus. Mosaic Transit Group is a consortium comprised of three companies: • ACS Infrastructure Canada Inc. • Aecon Concessions, a division of Aecon Construction Group Inc. • CRH Canada Group Inc. Mosaic Transit Group includes a construction arm (Mosaic Transit Constructors), as well as a maintenance provider (Mosaic Transit Partners Maintenance). Mosaic Transit Constructors is working with provincial partners (Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario) to design and build the 11 km, 18 stop Finch West LRT system, with ARUP are the primary subcontractor for the project's lead design. The LRT line has been in construction since 2019. The LRT line is owned by Metrolinx. When in operation, it will be operated by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and maintained by Mosaic Transit Partners Maintenance. Once operational, the Finch West LRT will get 40,000 daily riders to their destinations quickly and safely!
