Joe Fontana

Co-Founder at Mosaic Learning

Joe Fontana has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 1982, they began their career at IBM, where they worked as a Programmer/Database Administrator on a large software development project. Joe then transitioned to the Systems Integration Analyst role in the Federal Systems Division before becoming an Account Executive in the Commercial Division Sales Executive, where they sold the entire IBM product line to enterprise organizations in the telecommunications sector. In 1990, Joe became the CEO of MOSAIC, a position they held until 2007 when they co-founded Mosaic Learning. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Founding Member of the Mia Fontana Foundation, Inc.

Joe Fontana attended Boston College from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Joe pursued their studies in the Carroll School of Management.
