Bobby Wood has had a long and varied work experience. Bobby began their career in 2009 as a Ski Instructor at Mansfield Ski Club, where they developed strong leadership and communication skills. In 2012, they became an IT Systems Analyst at Canadian Blood Services, where they designed, developed, tested, and implemented the next Mobile Clinic Solution. Bobby also developed several scripts for server automation, a Java alert messaging service, and a website for multimedia content delivery from server to client computers. In 2013, Wood held two positions: Software Developer at Canadian Bank Note and Software Developer at DRDC. At Canadian Bank Note, they extended drivers for a receipt printer using Java and C/++. At DRDC, they assumed the role of a professional contractor to make upgrades to an existing software based test bed. In 2014, Wood held two positions at Ross Video: Product Verification Lab Technician and Hardware Verification - Co-op Student. In 2015, they held two positions: Associate at SWI Systemware Innovation Corporation and Director of Automation and Palette 2 Software Lead at Mosaic Manufacturing. As Palette 2 Software Lead, they worked to develop a product that will integrate SEEM technology into current and next generation consumer 3D printers.
Bobby Wood obtained a Level 1 Ski Instructor Certification from the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance in March 2008. Bobby then attended the University of Ottawa from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Engineering.
