Ted May

Ted serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Mosaic Theater Company. He has nearly 30 years of experience as a corporate executive with leading entertainment, media and technology companies including the CBS Television Network, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Cablevision Systems Corporation, America Online, and Synacor, Inc. He has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Prior to his career as an executive, Ted performed feature roles on stage and television as member of AEA and AFTRA in New York City and with multiple regional, resident theater companies. Producing organizations included the New York Shakespeare Festival, the Manhattan Theatre Club, Lincoln Center, Baltimore Center Stage, the Asolo Repertory Theatre, ABC, NBC, and others. He has a BFA from the Juilliard School.

In both domains and throughout his career, Ted has been an active and respected mentor and coach for junior staff and a valued advisor to colleagues and C-level executives. He’s currently an Executive Performance coach for business schools, companies and individuals in the D.C. area and blogs regularly on the topic for multiple online business publications.
