Doug Traser

Doug Traser has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Doug is currently working at UltraViolet Cyber as the Global Vice President of MDR. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Mosaic451 including Vice President of MDR Services & Engineering, Director of MDR Services, and IT Security Program Manager. Before Mosaic451, they served as the Information Security Manager at Five9.

Prior to Five9, Doug worked at Gymboree as the Senior Manager of Security & Compliance. During their time there, they accomplished various tasks such as rewriting General Computing Controls, achieving full compliance with PCI DSS audit, developing a consolidated log collection solution, implementing RSA SecurID for two-factor authentication, and integrating Managed Security Services.

Before Gymboree, Doug worked at HeidelbergCement as the Global Infrastructure Security Manager, where they managed security risks for the organization's information systems across multiple locations. Doug achieved significant cost reduction and improved risk response strategies during their tenure. Doug also worked as the Global Infrastructure Network Security Manager at HeidelbergCement.

Prior to HeidelbergCement, Doug worked at Hanson as a Global Infrastructure Network Security Engineer. Doug also worked at Hanson Building Materials America as an Information Technology Specialist.

In the early stage of their career, Doug worked as an Independent Consultant at Traser Software.

Throughout their career, Doug has demonstrated expertise in managing security risks, implementing security solutions, developing policies, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Doug Traser attended Las Positas College from 1993 to 1994, focusing on Computer Science. After completing their studies, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in May 2014.
