Suicide claims nearly 1 million lives worldwide each year. In Israel alone, over 600 people die by suicide annually, with thousands more at risk.

Founded in 2017 by Gal Nissim-Emanuel after the loss of her brother Moshe, MOSHE is Israel’s first community-driven suicide prevention nonprofit. Our innovative ROOFING model trains volunteers—called Moshas—to act as lifelines, providing immediate support and building safety nets around those in crisis.

We operate on three levels:

- Emergency community intervention
- Education and awareness training
- Building prevention hubs for long-term support

With proven success and expert backing, MOSHE empowers communities to save lives and break the silence around suicide.
