Gregor Tjaden has had extensive work experience in various managerial positions. Gregor is currently the Head of Renewable Energies at MOSOLF SE & Co. KG since May 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Vice President and Management Director of Subsidiaries at DEKRA from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they were the Managing Director at UPDOWN Ingenieurteam für Fördertechnik GmbH, a DEKRA Company, from 2014 to 2020, and also held the role of Managing Director at Dekra Industrial from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, Gregor Tjaden was the Head of Corporate Development at Deutscher Sparkassenverlag from 2006 to 2014 and the Head of Divisional Strategies at Deutsche Bahn from 2004 to 2005. Gregor began their career as a Project Manager at Roland Berger in 1996, where they worked on strategic projects, business process reengineering, and organizational improvements until 2004.

Gregor Tjaden completed their Abitur (German general qualification for university entrance) from Christianeum, Hamburg from 1981 to 1990. Gregor then pursued a degree in Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (business engineer) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 1991 and 1996. Later on, they earned a PhD, specifically a Dr. rer. pol., in Business Administration and Management, General from Universität Rostock in 2002.
