Halie Garcia

Halie has practiced public accounting and consulting since 2006. Her expertise includes internal audit, grant compliance consulting, and policy and procedure development. She has worked extensively with local and state governments, not-for-profits, higher education institutions, and Tribes throughout the western United States to reduce risks, strengthen controls, and improve performance.

Halie leads our internal audit services across multiple industries, assists clients with developing and implementing grant compliance monitoring programs, and has led initiatives to develop policies and procedures across nearly every financial and operational function.

Halie has developed thorough knowledge of operational accounting, financial systems, grant compliance requirements, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including accounting under FASB and GASB.
