Sean C. Kanaley

Sean has practiced public accounting since 1998. He has extensive experience with tax planning and compliance services stemming from transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private and public stock placements, bankruptcy, and debt and equity financings. He also consults with clients on the impact of transactions on tax return filing positions, purchase price, purchase accounting, and financial statement disclosure.

Prior to joining Moss Adams, Sean spent more than 20 years working at Big Four firms in Southern California and the Bay Area. Throughout his career, Sean has advised publicly traded, private equity-backed, and venture capital-backed corporations in the technology, life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, food and beverage, restaurant, and entertainment industries.
