Michael Valentino

Michael Valentino has had extensive work experience in the field of environmental engineering. Michael began their career in 1983 at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an Environmental Engineer, where they served as a Senior Engineer and held roles as RCRA Corrective Action Project Manager and CERCLA Remedial Project Manager until November 2021. Valentino then worked as an Independent Consultant at Safestart Environmental from November 2021 to July 2022, providing engineering and technical consultation on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) matters and conducting residential and commercial mold inspections. In August 2022, they joined Jacob & Hefner Associates, Inc. as a Project Engineer V, where they prepared SOQs for Indoor Air Quality projects, reviewed and signed ambient air monitoring sampling plans for site demolition projects, and provided technical expertise on site remediation projects. Currently, Valentino is employed as a Senior Consultant at Mostardi Platt, starting in May 2023.

Michael Valentino holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Michael also obtained a certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in July 2018.
