Nuno Cruz

Nuno Cruz is an experienced technical director in the geotechnical field, currently serving at Mota-Engil since October 2003, where responsibilities include supervising geotechnical characterization and design. In addition to this role, Nuno Cruz is an invited professor at the University of Aveiro, focusing on subjects such as rock mechanics and engineering geology. Prior experience includes serving as head of the Drilling and In-situ Testing department at CICCOPN, where contributions involved establishing in-situ quality certification in Portugal and introducing advanced testing methods. Nuno Cruz has also held academic positions at the University of Coimbra and worked as an engineer at the Laboratório Regional de Engenharia Civil da Madeira. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in In-Situ Testing from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and Universidade de Coimbra, respectively, along with an engineer's degree in Engineering Geology from the University of Coimbra.
