Alex Gawley

Alex Gawley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors. Currently serving as Director and General Partner at Zero Carbon Capital since July 2019, Gawley also holds several non-executive director roles at Exergy3 Limited, Aed Energy, and ClimateCrop, along with advisory positions at Mote Technologies, Inc., and previously at Zego. Gawley’s prior experience includes a significant tenure at Google from 2006 to 2020, culminating in the role of Director of Product Management, where Gawley also founded and managed Area 120, an internal innovation lab. Previous roles include senior positions at Barclays, HSBC Bank, and Capital One, where Gawley focused on product management, financial analysis, and market strategy. Gawley holds an MA in Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge.
