Tina Sohn

Tina Sohn is an experienced patternmaker with a strong background in denim and technical design. Currently employed at MOTHER Denim since February 2018, Tina specializes in developing patterns for both men’s and women’s apparel using Gerber technology and collaborates closely with designers to achieve desired aesthetics and fit, while managing garment dye shrinkage adjustments. Previous roles include Sr. Tech Designer/Patternmaker at NYDJ, Denim Patternmaker at True Religion Brand Jeans, and Senior Technical Designer at Gap Inc., among others. Tina also has extensive experience creating patterns from initial design through production, ensuring compliance with deadlines and specifications. Tina holds an Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Design from FIDM, earned between 1985 and 1987.
