Bethan Wallace Higson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the drinks industry, currently serving as the Founder of Mother Root Drinks since January 2019, which focuses on creating desirable alcohol-free aperitifs. Previously, Bethan held key positions at Champagne DEVAUX as Area Manager for the UK and Nordics and Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland from January 2015 to January 2020. Prior roles include Estates & Wines Brand Ambassador for Moet Hennessy Europe, PR Manager at Sopexa, and PR and Events Manager at WineChap.com, where a successful PR project garnered nationwide media coverage in the US. Bethan's background also includes roles at Clementine Communications and FreshMinds, as well as a tenure as Team Co-ordinator for the Environment department at FCO in Brussels. Academically, Bethan holds a Diploma from WSET and a BA in French and Italian from the University of Bristol.

We take inspiration from heritage recipes of the past and apply alcohol-making techniques refined over centuries (fermentation, maceration and blending) to create something new and relevant for today's drinking needs.
