Mother Tongue
Nikita Gubankov is an experienced account manager and translator with a strong background in creative translation and project management. Currently working at Mother Tongue since November 2022, Gubankov manages translation, localization, and transcreation projects for various clients. In addition to this role, Gubankov has been translating Russian into English for Watching America since July 2020 and served as a medical translator and editor for the UCL CenTraS/Rare Dementia Support Translation Project from November 2021 to January 2022. Gubankov also has experience in academic representation at UCL and customer service from a volunteer position at the Jewish Museum London. Gubankov holds a Master of Science in Translation and Technology from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in History with Spanish, complemented by an Erasmus+ study placement in Madrid.
