Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee
Angela Plunkett is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in lactation consulting and maternal support. Currently serving as the Director of the Donor Screening Program at Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee since April 2021, Angela oversees the screening of donor mothers and provides training for screeners while addressing breastfeeding inquiries. Simultaneously, Angela has held roles as a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with Tennessee Lactation Care and Maven since January 2020 and April 2018, respectively, offering virtual and in-home support to mothers and newborns. In addition to these roles, Angela is a crochet designer, creating patterns and yarn kits through Little Monkeys Design since January 2013, and volunteers as a leader and professional liaison with La Leche League International since March 2000. Angela earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University between 1994 and 1996.
